Marion-Thelma J. Hudgens, 85 of Overland Park, KS and a former resident of Marion died Friday, September 21, 2001 at the Atriums in Overland Park.

Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 25, 2001 at the Fountain Cemetery just south of Marion. Rev. Melva England will officiate. Burial will follow at Fountain Cemetery.
Visitation will Monday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home.

Thelma was born October 19, 1915 in Carsville, Ky. to Vernon & Muriel (Trail) Mirse

She married Zach Hudgens on November 23, 1939. He preceded her in death April 11, 1985.

Survivors include:

Daughter: Iris Menezes & husband William of Overland Park, KS.
Sister: Reona “Rae” Partain of Overland Park, KS.
Five Grandchildren
Five Great Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one grandson, Gregory Zach Menezes.
