More About SAMUEL LAZARUS MC INTURFF:
I know my granfather Samuel Lazarus McInturff moved to Morrison, TN from Ooltewah, TN near Chattanooga. He was tall and big boned. Everyone in the community said he was a good Christian man. My grandfather loved to tell tall tales and he also liked to drive best when it rained. He loved the trill of a challenge. That’s how I remember him. – Christy McInturff McBee June 10, 2011

Ok, I have got to tell you Uncle Stanley and Uncle Ralph’s tale about Pa Pa McInturff. PaPa had only one eye because he cleaned his gun and accidentally shot himself in the eye. He was in a coma for awhile and Ma Ma never left his side. He came back from his sleep. He said the loss of the one eye doubled the vision strength of the other eye. He would have people convinced that he could see a chigger sitting on a tree branch swaying in the breeze. Oh! It scratched its head, and then it did a backflip. Now, people actually believed this and PaPa told it in great fun. I wish I could have really known him like they did. From, Christy August 10 2011

He sure looks like a Hudgens as I remember my Grandmother, Emma Augusta Hudgens and Great Uncle William Washington Hudgens.
