HOLLOWAY2 HUDGENS (JAMES1) was born Abt. 1786 in Cumberland Co.Va., and died 30 Apr 1853 in Robertson Co.TN..
He married AILSEY GENT 27 Oct 1816. She was born 1789.

According to Goodspeed (Cheatham Co), One of the early settlers, Holloway Hudgens served in the war of 1812.
The 1850 Federal Slave Census of Robertson Co lists Holloway Hudgens as the owner of one male slave, age 28.
HOLLOWAY HUDGINS (HAAAC) was born in 1780 in Virginia and died April 30, 1853 in Robertson County, Tennessee. He married Ailsey Gent, daughter of Charles Gent of Georgia. She was born in 1789 (R15248). They were listed as farmers in the 15t…h District of Robertson County in the 1850 Census. Two others, presumed here to be their children, were enumerated in the household. In 1823 Charles Gent deeded 101 acres to his daughter, Ailsey (5-R-160, 161). The land was on the east side of Youngs Creek north of the mouth of Holloway Hudgins spring branch to . . . Nichol’s line now held by Edward Hudgens. A Negro boy named Palmetto was given to her at the same time.
